Si avvertono i nazionali che per fruire della tutela e dei favori previsti dalla legge sull'emigrazione, essi, volendo recarsi in America, devono prendere imbarco su un piroscafo di vettore di emigranti, con biglietto rilasciato in Italia da uffici autorizzati.  [Italian nationals are warned that in order to enjoy the protection and help provided by the laws concerning emigration, those wishing to go to America must book passage aboard a steamship line for emigrants, with a ticket issued in Italy by authorized offices.]

Occorre che gli emigranti rifiutino ogni proposta di Agenzie di emigrazione stabilite fuori d'Italia, tendente ad attirarli ad imbarcarsi in porti stranieri, perché, accettando, andrebbero incontro a gravi inconvenienti: spese maggiori, viaggio spesse volte più lungo, mancanza di protezione a bordo per parte di Commissarii governativi, necessità di ricorrere a tribunali stranieri in caso di lite, costose fermate nelle città marittime straniere per attendervi il giorno dell'imbarco.  [It is necessary that emigrants refuse any proposal of emigration agencies located outside Italy, aimed at luring them to embark from foreign ports, because by accepting they could encounter serious difficulties: greater expenses, crowded and longer voyages, absence of on-board protection provided by government commissioners, the need to appeal to foreign courts in the event of disputes, and costly stays in foreign maritime cities in order to await the day of embarkation.]
