Homemade Taralli from Gambatesa

"In Gambatesa people always have a basket filled with taralli on the table, and inside among the taralli there may be a couple of big Biscotti con le uova as well."

Some taralli rings break open when boiling (as below), but they are good that way too.

In the basket below are amaretti, cantucci, and taralli.
