Abandoned farmhouse in Piana delle Noci, Gambatesa
The letters DDT in red can be seen to the top left of the doorway. This marking is left over from the aftermath of World War 2, from the U.S. occupation of Italy. Two old people were living in this house as late as the 1950s.
