Luca Valente's Passport from the 1920s

Luca Valente of Gambatesa (1894-1955) came to America to work for a few years before returning to Gambatesa.  While in America he lived in the same house with his older brother Donato in Rochester, New York.

The photograph used for Luca's passport was also attached to the "Permit to Reenter the United States" which was issued to "LUCA VALENTE or LUCO VALENTE" to be valid from 20 November 1926 until 20 November 1927.
