Harry Slackway (1869-1959) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was the son of Andreas and Mary Jane (Dickinson) Schlectweg and the husband of Mary (Stout) Slackway (1874-1935).
The photograph above was printed in January 1956. Harry would have been about 87 years old. The child with Harry is his great-granddaughter, the granddaughter of Harry's son Allen Slackway and Elizabeth Wrightson.

The photograph below shows Harry Slackway with his granddaughter Betty, in the 1950s. Harry's son Allen always rented in West Wildwood, New Jersey, every summer, so that is most likely where they were fishing (The fish are flounder).
Betty Slackway (1936-2001) was Allen's daughter. She married Albert Matthews, and they had four children together.
