The end of Via Serrone, beginning of Via della Madonna, Gambatesa
The photograph below comes just before the end of Via Serrone, which is at the far northwestern end of the village of Gambatesa at a height of 422 meters [1,385 feet] above sea level. Here begins the path called Via della Madonna down to the Chapel of Our Lady of Victory (Cappella di Maria Santissima della Vittoria). That path lies almost in a direct line between the village of Gambatesa and Toppo della Salandra [See map of Colle della Madonna].
